MEET SARAH R. CAPUTO

Sarah R. Caputo has spent the past twelve years advising and coaching individuals globally through both the undergraduate and MBA admissions process and beyond. She is committed to the success of every client and has a stellar track record with more than 90% of her clients admitted to their top choice program, including the top 10 MBA programs. Unlike larger firms where clients are often in the hands of less experienced consultants,

Sarah manages the entire admissions process and ensures that no detail is overlooked. Every client is provided exceptional service — even if that means that an essay is reviewed 20 times. And the results speak for themselves.

Prior to founding SRC Educational Consultants, Sarah served at the Head of College Admissions for Ready4, and as an Admissions Consultant and Chief Operating Officer at Square One Prep. Before her career in admissions consulting, Sarah served as a Global Investment Specialist in the Private Bank at J.P. Morgan where she provided investment and asset allocation advice to high net worth individuals.

After graduating from Columbia Business School, Sarah served as a management consultant at Opera Solutions, and worked on strategic and marketing projects at Fortune 100 companies. She takes her background in marketing to helping her clients effectively understand how to differentiate themselves to the admissions committee in an increasingly competitive environment. Prior to business school, Sarah began her career at Goldman Sachs & Co. where she advised large institutional clients on fixed income investment strategies. She is a co-author of “The Vault’s Guide to Sales and Trading (2008 edition)”.

Sarah earned her MBA from Columbia University, Certification in College Counseling from UCLA, and a BBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University where she graduated with high honors, and was the sole recipient of the Kimberly Clark merit-based scholarship. Sarah is an associate member of IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association), and participates in conferences and educational opportunities. She enjoys sharing her admissions expertise as a volunteer with SHE-CAN, an organization that empowers low-income young women from countries rebuilding peace to seek a higher education in the U.S. and become change-agents in their respective communities. Sarah is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and in her spare time, Sarah enjoys running marathons, traveling, tennis, and spending time with husband, two girls and her dog, Cocoa.
